Your Role and Responsibilities

This position is a senior member of the Sales Profession, Relationship Sales Discipline.

The Client Manager is responsible for:

– Assigned to the Financial Services Sector, is responsible for driving IBM brand opportunities within these IBM clients.

– Manages the total customer relationship with specified number of Enterprise clients within the Financial Services Sector (Banks, insurance companies).

– Responsible on achieving assigned Revenue, Profits & Contracts Signings Targets for the territory.

– Develops and executes an account plan to address both IT and Line-of-Business organizations, leveraging other subject matter experts, executives, and thought-leaders as needed to provide value to the client.

– Demonstrates a high level of business acumen and applies a thorough understanding of the client’s business, organization, strategy and financial position.

– Builds relationships with senior client executives, earning a reputation as one of the client’s trusted business advisors

– Demonstrates the highest proficiency and deep understanding in the application of IBM’s strategies and offerings for the assigned brand and promotes specific brand solutions to address the client’s business needs.

– Understands and navigates IBM to identify, acquire and coordinate a team of critical resources needed to address client needs; leads the cross-functional team to develop the best solution for the client.

– Maintains a thorough understanding of the FSS industry, including industry trends, industry financial measurements and key client competitors in their industry.

– Identifies and prioritizes solution opportunities and provides solutions by aligning IBM’s brand strategies with the client’s most important business needs, and their industry and business strategy.

– Should have the sufficient experience and information on the FSS IT Eco system.

– Plans and facilitates and/or conducts complex negotiations reaching lasting agreements and commitments.

– Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

– Min. 9 to 12 years of experience in similar position with MNCs preferably in Saudi Arabia

– + 5 years of FSS industry knowledge.

– Strategic Planning

– C-Suite Relationship Management

– Business Development

– Large and Complex Deal Management

– Team Orchestration and Leadership skills.

– Proven track record of achieving assigned sales targets (magnitude of tens of Millions) in similar position.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

– Applies comprehensive understanding of sales processes.

– Existing/developing client relationships with the Saudi Financial Services Sector.

– Demonstrates a professional knowledge of business acumen, including an understanding of the customers’ business, industry, economic trends, issues and competition

– Understands organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies, both IBM and clients’.

– Understands IBM strategies, offerings, and technologies.

– Applies knowledge of information technology and leading-edge solutions related to the client’s business.

– Effectively utilizes channels and different routes to market (Partners and Direct).

– Masters the required proficiency levels of the Relationship Discipline skills for this position
