Charterhouse is recruiting on behalf of a private family who are looking to hire a Head of Academic Excellence. This is a permanent role working to improve the academic development of four students at varying ages.
This role would suit a candidate with proven teaching experience in addition to possessing strong communication skills and a creative flair when supporting the children’s studies. You will provide homework assistance, supporting the children’s school and extra-curricular tasks in addition to communicating with their respective teacher’s in-order to ensure best academic performance.
The successful candidate will already be based in the UAE and will preferably be open to living on-site in-order to best support the children’s learning. You will have three years of UAE teaching experience and English will be your first language.
You must be highly adaptable and results-driven; with an ability to forge strong working relationships with other education professionals. In summary, you will always prioritise the children’s academic development above all else.
In exchange, you will be provided with medical cover in addition to an annual flight ticket. An end of contract bonus will also be provided after completing two years of service as the family are looking for longevity and stability within the role.
You must be based in Dubai – any candidates outside of the UAE will not be considered due to current visa restrictions.
